The Foundry Community
The Foundry Community is for women who want deep connection, visibility, and community. We promise you an exclusive space of fellow female founders and business owners who are looking for connection, growth and willing to support others along the way.
Community membership includes monthly professional development sessions and networking, free webinars, free ‘Foundry Conversations’ events and access to a digital community space full of resources to support you and your business.
What the Foundry promises: – 5% of all your membership fees will go to Smart Works charity.
Memberships are on a 6 month basis (but we hope you will stay for much longer!) with monthly subscriptions available.
The opportunity to switch up to the ‘Programme’ membership at any time – A chance to play an integral part in building this unique Cotswold-based community through referrals
The Foundry Programme
A high-impact, six-month leadership and business growth journey designed for ambitious women ready to lead with clarity, courage, and contribution.
Think the space between the staff room and board room to think strategically, grapple with big questions around your professional identity and position in your field, alongside shaping your path for growth and development.
On completion of the 6 month Programme, you will become part of the Foundry Community Membership and gain additional access to private Programme events and Programme alumni events.
Each programme will be a small, select group of no more than 12 women to ensure a trusting and supportive environment.

The Foundry Conversations
The Foundry Conversations is a quarterly series of intimate, high-quality discussion events in the Cotswolds, bringing together women from across business, leadership, and public life to explore the questions that matter most.
Each Conversation is carefully curated around a live, provocative theme, designed to spark insight, encourage debate, and challenge the way we think about leadership, power, purpose and impact.
It’s a space for critical thinking, intelligent conversation, and meaningful exchange. It’s the kind of dialogue that leaves you seeing the world, and your place in it, differently.
These are included in both the Community and Programme membership, with a small ticket fee for non-members.

FAQs
Can I upgrade my membership?
Yes, of course. Foundry Community members get priority for all Programme memberships and course allocation.
Is there a contract?
Each membership is a minimum of a 6 month contract. We know that life changes and we want to keep things as flexible as possible. The Foundry Programme is 6 months long.
When are the meetings?
The 1st Thursday of every month for the monthly Connect Learn Grow sessions. See our Events page for more detail on webinars, programme course dates and Foundry Conversations.
How can I connect with other members?
We use an app called Circle where you can communicate with members. Here we share business shout outs, requests, resources and recordings of all online workshops.
Do I have to live in the Cotswolds?
No, of course not. Everyone is more than welcome.
I'm not sure about membership yet, can I still get involved?
Absolutely!
Non-members are welcome to two of our monthly Connect. Learn. Grow sessions as PAYG guests.
You can also come along to our Foundry Conversations which are free to members but have a very small fee attached for non-members.
Our Foundry Programme sessions and online masterclasses are for members only.
Where do you meet?
Our monthly workshops currently meet at Malmaison, Cheltenham, GL50 3AS, 9:30am – 11:30am on the first Thursday of the month.
However our Foundry Programme events and Conversations use different, beautiful locations across the Cotswolds.
Our member-only masterclasses are held online.
Is it only for women?
Yes, we are all about creating a space for female founders and business owners.

We are always on the look-out for beautiful, sophisticated 9but not pretentious) locations to run a wide range of different types of events from big workshops, to smaller sessions.
